Odell Beckham Jr. now a free-agent wide receiver has filed suit against Nike over his last endorsement deal. OBJ resigned with the sneaker giant back in 2017, with Nike agreeing to match an offer presented by its competition Adidas. This five-year deal was worth no less than $30 million. Beckham Jr. says Nike purposely suppressed sales and came up with excuses on why he was not meeting the obligations of unrealistic goals within the contract, thus making the chances of a contract extension slim to none and causing Odell to potentially miss out on a staggering $47 million.
