UCLA Bruins guard Kiki Rice was honored with the chance of giving the Air Jordan 38 its first test run during the Sweet 16 matchup verse the South Carolina Gamecocks. Rice named Gatorade’s 2021-2022 National Girls Basketball Player of the Year was once one of the highest rated recruits prior to attending UCLA. Before tipoff a photo of Rice wearing the unreleased shoe was shared via Instagram story by the UCLA Women’s Basketball team, with a caption “@Jumpman23 is up to something . . . and @kiki.rice is testing them out. Look for the release in several colorways later this year. Retailed price is rumored to be $200 USD.
