After losing more than half a billion dollars this past year due to the termination of the Yeezy Brand partnership, adidas has announced it will resume the sale of Yeezy sneakers. This decision was made earlier today by adidas who has been sitting on a massive stock of Yeezys for months on end.
“What we are are trying to do over time is to sell part of these goods and then donate to organizations that have helped us and that also have been hurt by Kanye’s statements,” CEO Björn Gulden told investors Thursday during adidas’s annual shareholder meeting held in Fuerth, Germany. “Burning them is not the solution.”
It has been reported that Ye will receive a 15% commission on all goods sold.
