Revealed by artist and designer Josuè Thomas the creative genius behind GALLERY DEPT., here is a look at their custom remake of the Vans legendary “Old Skool.” Making its debut in 1977 the “Old Skool” was Vans first shoe to use the infamous side stripes. The Old Skool “Good Luck” is heavily detailed with text all over. Notable phrases that can be seen along the side paneling include “Panic,” “Computer Crimes,” “Fine Drinks” and “Earth Crisis” giving of eerie vibes, while the bright yellow laces bring hope with the phrase “Good Luck” repeating.
