Formed in Bakersfield, California back in 1993 the nu metal band Korn has been rocking and recording for an amazing forty years.
Known sneakerheads the band dropped their famous hit record A.D.I.D.A.S. (all day I dream about sex) the second single off the classic Life is Peachy album. The song which indirectly refers to the popular sports brand became the groups first charting Billboard single. It was during this success that Korn awaiting a partnership deal from adidas (similar to the one of legendary rap group Run-DMC) was told by the sneaker giant “We do sports, not music.” The band ultimately ended up signing a deal with sports brand Puma in 1998, but by this time there was a sour strain on adidas’s and Korn’s relationship.
Fast forward to today the two are back for an official collaboration nearly 30 years later.courtesy of adidas
