adidas teams up with Tokyo-based art gallery Nanzuka to release the Superstar XLG “R2-D2 and C-3PO,” a collaborative colorway that pays tribute to the iconic droids of the “Star Wars” film franchise.
The robotic duo is showcased via an all-over graphic on the white leather upper.
Black TPU three-stripes in a semi-translucent finish adorn the quarter panel, while the black leather back tab displays adidas Trefoil branding.
A vintage off-white finish is applied to the rubber shell toe, matching the midsole and herringbone-traction outsole.
